How To Hide a blog post on your weebly site

This tutorial will show you how to hide a specific, published blog post on your Weebly site.
For whatever reason, you may want to keep your visitors from seeing a specific blog post on your site, but at the moment, Weebly doesn't have the option to unpublish individual blog posts.
In the meantime, this simple trick will hide a specific or multiple blog posts from your Weebly site, but it will not keep them hidden from the search engines. If a visitor finds your hidden blog post through a search engine, they will be able to see what the search engine results provide, but when they click on your blog post, they'll be taken to a blank page.
If you absolutely need to keep a blog post out of public view, you will need to, unfortunately, delete it for now.

Step 1. Find your blog post's id
After identifying the specific blog post you'd like to hide, simply right click on the title of that blog post, select "Inspect Element", and copy the blog post's ID as shown in the image below.
For this demo site, we're going to hide the first blog post and we've identified its ID as "blog-post-700315936586902937".

Step 2. Open Weebly's HTML/CSS editor
Click on "THEME" at the top, then click on "Edit HTML/CSS" on the left.
Step 3. Add CSS code
On the left, select "main.less", and on the right, scroll down the CSS file until your reach the blog coding area. Add the blog ID you copied from Step 1 to the CSS file, add a hashtag in front of it, and then set it to "display:none;" as shown below:

Add this second code as well as this will allow you to access the hidden blog post in the Weebly editor while it remains hidden on your published site:
